Tarot prompts for the astrology of the moment 🌙

astrology tarot spreads Mar 31, 2025

How are you? With so much going on in the world, it’s been hard for a lot of us to focus.

No matter what you’re trying to focus on, or what you’re moving through, I hope you are hanging in there <3

There is also a lot going on astrologically, with some planets moving back and forth between Aries and Pisces. Yesterday, at 8am Eastern time, Neptune moved into the sign of Aries for the first time since the 1800s.

Venus went retrograde in Aries on March 3, and slipped back into the sign of Pisces just a few days ago, on Thursday, March 27.

And Mercury also slid back into Pisces’ waters on Saturday, March 29, the same day at the solar eclipse and new moon in Aries.

There is a lot of symbolism to wade through with these motions. Once Venus and Mercury both go direct again in April, they will eventually find their ways back into Aries, picking up where they left off several weeks ago.

What can we make of this?

Aries is fire and Pisces is water.

Aries wants to act and Pisces wants to dream.

Aries angers and Pisces confuses.

Aries wants independence and Pisces wants to merge, to find unity between itself and the collective. Or the cosmos.

This is the back forth many of us are caught up in, personally and collectively: A seesaw motion of who we have been and who are in the process of becoming.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been spending a lot of time reflecting on what I really feel, versus what I’ve been taught to feel.

Anger is one example of where this can come up. How many times have you been upset about something – maybe someone acted inappropriately, or a boundary was crossed, or you were slighted somehow – but when you expressed your upset, you were told “you’re overreacting.”

Or, “don’t make such a big deal about it.”

Sometimes this happens because the people around us are conflict averse. Or they have different buttons that get pressed.

But it can be confusing all the same, because you might start to wonder: “Am I overreacting? Am I wrong about being wronged?”

There are so many moments like this that can cause us to drift away from what we’re feeling.

And yes, sometimes we can overreact, and sometimes emotions do need to be diffused.

But what happens when you train yourself to under-react in anticipation of such a response?

What happens when you stop listening to what your feelings are trying to tell you?

What happens when you start overlooking issues as they present themselves to you?

These are some questions that you might be sitting with these days.

This is a time to unravel the places where you’ve found yourself too caught up in other people’s perceptions.

It’s a time to look at which thoughts and feelings belong to you, and what you can cast back into the ocean to leave for everyone else.

You might want to sit with your tarot cards and work through some of these questions if helps:

  • What are my feelings trying to tell me?
  • What emotion of mine wants to take up more space?
  • What can I learn from my most conflicted emotions?
  • What can I make space for within myself?

If you are looking for personalized guidance at this time to navigate questions about your relationship to yourself and the world around you, I'd love to meet with you for a tarot or astrology reading

Until next time,

Liz
